Welcome

A warm welcome awaits you at Jan and Jed's cottage. Follow the twisting country road with lovely views around to Ollach and the Braes area of Skye, 5 miles south of Portree.

Here you will find our old crofters cottage set within a pretty garden with glorious views out over the sea to the island of Raasay and Ben Tianavaig, a delightful mountain climb of 1,355ft.

Our home has been carefully renovated over the years yet retains all it's cottage charm. With our en-suite double bedroom we also offer our guests a beautiful lounge with beamed ceilings, antique furniture and a cosy log burning stove to welcome you back from walks in the hills.

Browse through the walking guides and maps to help you explore the landscapes, history and mountains of this stunning Island.

Enjoy a traditional full Scottish or Continental breakfast whilst looking out across the sea. White tailed sea eagles can sometimes be seen swirling high over Ben Tianavaig.

Well behaved pets are also welcome at the cottage by prior arrangement.

Jan and Jed's cottage is open from Easter until the end of August in 2009.
